A small team where an engineer sees the whole task: the conversation with the client, architecture, code, deployment, support. If you like making the decisions and answering for them as well, this is the place.
Tasks
- Design and write services in Go and interfaces in Next.js
- Build clickable prototypes before development starts
- Show the client a demo every 2–3 days
- Write automated tests for the paths whose breakage costs money
- Review colleagues' code and drafts generated by AI
Requirements
- Go in production: concurrency, contexts, profiling
- React and TypeScript at a level where strict mode is not in your way
- PostgreSQL: indexes, query plans, migrations without downtime
- Docker, and the ability to bring the project up on someone else's machine with one command
Nice to have
- Experience with the Next.js App Router and server components
- An understanding of Core Web Vitals and how to influence them
- Experience talking to clients without a manager translating
